Shireen captivates audiences with vocals for the Heartland Jazz Orchestra, the high-energy pop/rock band Party Cannon, and laid-back acoustic duo micro spice. She also brings her talents to the stage, having portrayed Sherrie in Rock of Ages, Lucy Harris in Jekyll & Hyde, Susie Bones in Puffs , Charlotte in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Miss Honey in Matilda. Beyond the stage and bandstand, Shireen shares her voice as a cantor at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington. Shireen is a summa cum laude graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where she earned degrees in Music and Accounting. She currently studies voice with Daniel Megli of Megli Voice Studio. In October, she will take on the role of Joanne in RENT at Peoria Players Theatre.
